Greyhounds crash into traps at Romford

In the 20.31 race at Romford dog track owned by Coral bookmakers the traps failed to be removed from the track after the dogs were released. Disaster struck as the dogs entered the final bend with at least 3 of them crashing into the traps which were still resting on the track.
We do not know if there were any fatalities or what safety procedures are in place for instances such as this. The GBGB have confirmed an investigation will take place and will update you when we have details of their investigation.
